Abstract

Repetition of different words and verses in Qur'ān is called Tarjī`. Meaning of these repeated words and verses can be determined from context. Qur'ān repeats few words and verses for assertion of some teachings. Repeated words and verses are found in many chapters of Qur'ān. Few interpreters and commentators of Qur’ān explained these repeated words and verses in monotonous tune which leads the reader tedious. Whereas others interpreters attempted to describe these repeated words and verses, every time, with a new aspect according to context. One of them is Syed Makhdoom Ali Mahaimi.
