Abstract

The impact of Khurshid Rizvi's Arabic poetry on the awakening of national consciousness

One of the most important things in human life is the "language" of human being. A Man can expresses his conscience better than all earthly creatures, because human speech is capable of producing the most syllables among all animal creatures. Arabic is the religious language of Muslims and Muslims all over the world are familiar with Arabic letters and words due to reading the Quran. It is a characteristic of human beings that in terms of literature, a person prefers to listen to something in poetry rather than prose. According to the teachings of the Prophet ﷺ, if the matter is good, it is permissible to say it in both prose and poetry. Good poetry plays a positive role in awakening the national consciousness, where it leads to the training of other personal qualities of the members of the society.

In Arabic poetry and literature, the poets used martial songs, poems and especially ghazals and ghazal-like hymns to evoke the national consciousness The influence of Islamic consciousness and nationalism is clearly seen in the words of the poets belonging to the Pakistan. These poets have provided memorable proof of their passion for Islamic consciousness through their poetry. The national song is a genre of literature that covers all aspects of the country, nation, religion and nation with the interpretation of collective emotions with personal values. National poetry means that poetry whose motivation is the pain of the nation and whose purpose is to revive the greatness of the Islamic nation.

Dr. Khursheed Rizvi is an educator, a researcher, a poet, and a thinker. Many scholars in the Arab world are not only admirers of his research efforts, but from Azhar University in Egypt to Iraq, Jordan, Syria and Lebanon, his Arabic writings are viewed with admiration and admiration. His poetic verses educate society and raises awareness of an individual's Islamic identity.  Khursheed Rizvi's poems reflect the color of Arab poetry of Jahiliya era. Main characteristic of his poetry is that he has kept the achievements of his predecessors as an example. For this reason, his poetry goes beyond traditional poetry and becomes a representative of culture and values. In this article we will review his services in this regard.
