Abstract

It is great contribution to comprehend the revealed book of Allah, such kind of narrations are called exegesis   of holy Quran. There are few narrators whom adopt the

coherence aptitude in Quran, in a simple and brief way they had claimed that

qur’anic chapters as well as verses are mutually connected. This kind of contact is named as”NAZAME QURAN Obaidullah Sindhi, a renowned thinker and scholar of the Quran, particularly highlighting his contributions through his student, Molana Abdullah Laghari, who compiled his exegesis into Tafseer Al-Maqam Ul-Mehmood. Let's break down the key points you have listed:

  1. Every Surah has a Basic Claim: According to Molana Obaidullah Sindhi, each surah (chapter) of the Quran has a central theme or claim, and all verses within that surah support or elaborate upon that core theme.
  2. Tauheed as the Principal Commandment: One of the most fundamental teachings in the Quran is the concept of Tauheed — the oneness of God. Molana Sindhi emphasizes that this principle runs throughout the Quran, underscoring the monotheistic nature of Islamic belief.
  3. Coherence as the Miracle of the Quran: Sindhi highlights the coherence of the Quran as its miracle. Despite being revealed over a span of 23 years and in various contexts, the Quran maintains a consistent message and inner harmony. This coherence is seen as one of the miraculous aspects of the Quran.
  4. Connection of Surahs Like Pearls: Each surah is not isolated but is connected to others, forming a seamless narrative, like pearls strung together on a thread. This reflects the intricate and harmonious structure of the Quran.
  5. Quran as a Sermon Style Book: Molana Sindhi posits that the Quran is written in a sermon-like style rather than a purely formal or academic manner. This style is designed to speak directly to the hearts and minds of its readers, conveying guidance in a manner that is engaging and practical.

These interpretations of the Quran offer deep insights into how the Quran is structured and its thematic emphasis.
