The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and the Historical Struggle for the Establishment of Peace: An Analytical Study

Abstract

Peace is one of the basic teachings of Islam and an important objective of the mission of Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). This article examines the efforts made by the Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) to establish peace in society and explains how his teachings and practical actions helped create a peaceful and stable community. The study is based on the Qur'an, Hadith and early Islamic historical sources. 

The article discusses the social and political conditions of Arabia before the Prophet's mission and explains how he addressed violence, tribal conflicts and social injustice through wisdom, patience, justice and mutual respect. It also highlights major events such as the Charter of Madinah, the Treaty of Hudaybiyyah and the Conquest of Makkah as practical examples of his peace-building efforts. 

The study further analyzes the relevance of the Prophet's approach to peace in the modern world. It argues that many present-day conflicts can be addressed by following the principles of justice, dialogue, forgiveness and respect for human dignity as demonstrated in the life of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). 

The article concludes that the Prophet's efforts for peace were not limited to a particular time or place but provide lasting guidance for building peaceful societies based on justice, coexistence and mutual understanding.
