Abstract

Conflicts between Islamic traditions and other concepts have existed in Pakistan since start, but before the first decade of the 21st century, the media began to capture the minds of people in every region of the Global Village. The notion of freedom of sex, expression and action is flourishing. Intellectuals with progressive tendencies in educational institutions also began to promote these ideas. Iqbal's thought is deeply rooted in social, cultural, political and religious concepts in Pakistan. There is no substitute for this at the national level. Due to the uniformity of the education system and the complexity of the curriculum, the importance of Iqbal's teaching is further enhanced. Therefore, a powerful source of mind-building is due to Iqbal's thought. This article examines the importance and usefulness of Iqbal’s teachings in many contexts including education system, curriculum and educational environment.
