Aims and Scope

Journal of Administration, Policy and Governance (JAPG) is an open-access and peer-reviewed Research Journal of the Department of Public Administration, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur. The Journal aims to contribute to the discipline of public administration and policy sciences through cross-cutting, sophisticated, and rigorous research. To ignite an intellectual discourse, scholarly debate, and informed policy dialogue, the journal welcomes research publications that are innovative, novel, and creative with considerable contributions to the existing literature, theory and practice, and/or offer fresh insights into comparative public administration and policy perspectives across the globe. The journal publishes scholarly research in major areas of public administration that include but not limited to public policy, governance, public finance, public management, human resource management & development, organizational theory design & behavior, sustainable development, and contemporary topics encompassing all spheres of administration, management and policy sciences. The journal will encourage promoting and publishing indigenous research focusing on Pakistan’s politico-administrative and wider public policy solutions for improving the governance spectrum and public service delivery. The journal values diversity, hence, puts no restrictions on methodological approaches and welcome all qualitative, quantitative, and mix-methods research studies, with no compromise on quality, integrity, and standards of the submitted papers, for assisting its wider audience to have abreast of the topical happenings in their areas of interest.
