Abstract

The most famous books on the “Strange Words” of the Qur'an in the fifteenth century.In the language of speech, the term “Strange Words” refers to the contemplation of words that are hidden or incomprehensible.The origin of the word goes back to everything distant, and strange speech is also due to its remoteness from the listener's understanding.Imam al-Khattabi, may Allah have mercy on him, said: "A strange word is something obscure and distant from understanding, just as a strange person is someone far from home and separated from his family."Also, technically, it is the science concerned with interpreting obscure words in the Qur'an and clarifying their meanings based on the Arabic language and method. It is a specialized linguistic field, or the linguistic aspect of Qur'anic interpretation.So "Gharib al-Qur'an" is that it has a distant and obscure meaning that cannot be understood except through careful thought and reflection.This article refers to books and document that explain and interpret strange or unfamiliar words in the Qur'an.Also, books on the “Strange Words” of the Qur'an explore the “Strange Words” of the Qur'an, which may be ambiguous and require clarification.The purpose of this teaching is to explain these actions in detail. which accomplised by famous scholars of the fifteenth century in this field.Then there is a description of the properties of each of them, along with a mention of the curriculum they adopted.
