Abstract

There are two different ideologies regarding muslim woman's education in the contemporary age of Muslims. One theory is to bring the woman to a religious education only. Because this education is only the considered need for her as a housewife and children bringing up. So the mentioned purposes can be achieved by only religious education easily. While the other theory related to the woman's education is that she must get both types of education, religious education and worldly education. So that a beautiful mixture may be appeared in her personality. This second theory is actually the desired ideology of Islam which can be the only one option that can fulfill the contemporary requirements. This article emphasizes that a muslim woman should get religious education first, then she pay her attention to the worldly education according to her need. This article further explains that when a muslim woman will   turn to the educational institutions for  achieving education ,she must adopt same style which was adopted by the women  of the period  of Holy Prophetﷺ's. It means that practically she will   obey the Sharia principles which have been set for her by Allah Almighty and His prophetﷺ. For example, when a muslim woman comes out of the house as a student, she will not go without hijab. She will not spell nor show her beauty. She will not also mix with non Maharam people. Talking with such people in terms of compulsion, she will not soften her voice, whether one of them is her teacher or class fellow. By this way everyone can escape himself from sexual attraction. On the one side this article highlights the importance of contemporary Muslim woman,s education. While on the other side, it makes her regular in full acceptance of Sharia principles during getting education. As conclusion this article contains a great guide to legal principles for women's education.
