In the Ghazals of Allama Iqbal that he wrote in the initial stage, we find the reflection of new poetic tendencies of Hali and Akbar. But, he chose Dagh Dehalvi for poetic guideline .Gradually Iqbal adopted his unique style. In the 20th century, different themes were added in the Urdu Ghazal. In that period, Iqbal added aesthetic values in his Ghazal. Aesthetic virtues are fruitfully found in his ghazal. He is the adovocate of majaesty and aestheticisim in beauty. Beauty, whether, appers as a symbol of feminine charm is like a colour in the image of the universe and it blesses the melodies of life with inner sorrow. It is prominent in his Ghazals that feminine beauty is perfect in being a feminine. His Ghazal make us realize that love is not a harbinger of destruction buit guaranter of existence. There is such a delicacy in Iqbal’s style as creates graceful charm combined with spiritual beauty. In his Ghazal, the tone of majesty gradually overpowers beauty and the element of power become more prominent the Philosophical harmony of his thoughts converts his Ghazals, which are composed of scattered verses into cohenent lyrical expression. None has ever shaped the ghazal in this form. His ghazal possesses the majesty of poetic lyricism which makes the verses sink into the reader’s heart.
