Abstract

This research presents an analytical study of the commercial travels of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and evaluates their profound socio-domestic impacts along with their historical context. Due to the economic conditions of the Arabian Peninsula, commerce served as a vital pillar of sustenance, prompting the Prophet (PBUH) to undertake significant trade journeys. This paper explores how his exceptional honesty, trustworthiness, and financial rectitude during these travels directly laid the foundation for his blessed marriage to Khadijah (R.A). It further analyzes the socio-economic dimension of his domestic life, particularly the fulfillment of marital obligations and the payment of dower as a model of financial independence and integrity. The study also evaluates the expansion of familial ties and the enhanced commercial prestige brought to the Banu Hashim clan through his impeccable reputation as the Truthful and the Trustworthy. A key academic finding of this paper is that the Prophet's early economic endeavors not only stabilized his family structure but also cultivated an enduring ethical framework for financial dealings that reshaped Arab society. Methodologically, this study employs historical, descriptive, and analytical approaches to illuminate the far-reaching social impacts of the Prophet's commercial life.
