The reasons for the compulsive migrations/exiles of the Prophets of Allah have been revealed in different surahs of Qur’ān. The Prophet Ibrahīm (Abraham) A.S. was compelled to migrate for his preaching to his nonbeliever father and disbeliever Tribe. On the same pattern, the exile of the Prophet Ismāʻīl A.S. and his mother Hājirah A.S. is also described in Surah Maryam.
The Prophet Lūṭ and Shoʻaib A.S. were also warned of exile followed by an unwanted migration. The Prophet Moses and Hārūn (A’ron) A.S. also choosed autonomic exiles to preach Bani Israel (Israelite Tribe) and save them from the tyranny of Firo’n (Pharaoh).
After the first revelation on the Holy Prophet Muḥammad SAW in the cave of Ḥirā, Warqah bin Nawfil disclosed shocking news to the Prophet that His Tribe shall impose an exile on Him. The Prophet surprisingly enquired,”Would they compel me to migrate?”Warqah replied,”Yes, all the predecessor Prophets were also imposed of exiles in response to their preaching”.
The migration/exile of the Holy Prophet Muḥammad SAW has been elaborated in this article in the light of Makkī and Madnī Surahs.
