This research paper explores a significant and historical dimension of the Prophetic biography namely, the letters sent by the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) to various world rulers, inviting them to embrace Islam. The study is based on the detailed accounts found in the Seerat-un-Nabi Encyclopedia published by Darussalam. These letters were not only invitations to faith but also reflected the Prophet’s profound diplomatic insight, principles of international engagement, and interfaith dialogue. The paper presents a comprehensive analysis of each letter’s content, historical context, the recipient rulers, appointed envoys, their responses, and the religious and political implications of these correspondences. It highlights how the Prophet ﷺ used wisdom, eloquence, and exemplary character to extend the message of Islam globally—offering timeless guidance for contemporary diplomacy and Islamic outreach.
