Iqbal Studies in Dera Ghazi Khan: A Review

Abstract

Dera Ghazi Khan is geographically located in the center of Pakistan and most of the inhabitants here belong to the Baloch tribes. Many personalities from Dera Ghazi Khan maintained close personal relations with Allama Iqbal. While Iqbal maintained continuous correspondence with many personalities. Many letters of Allama Iqbal are found written to various personalities of Dera Ghazi Khan. In addition, many researchers from Dera Ghazi Khan have also contributed their valuable contribution to Iqbalistic research. This article presents a critical review of the research work on these personalities of Dera Ghazi Khan and the Iqbalism conducted here.
