Abstract

Allah Almighty Created many creatures but when he created Humans and gave them mind and feelings so humans felt the need to express his feeling and what is going on his mind about himself about others and about nature so first of all he used lingual and oral mean to express this and secondly Human beings used writing to express their in minds and their feeling and their observations.

In the lines below, we are going to discuss what is meant by writing and how it started and how it developed and in different ages how different Scripts styles were used for writing and how it was used as a mean of communications between kings and states and other peoples.

Opinion are different  in the genesis of writing, when it began, and who was the first to invent it, some says that art of writing is given from Allah Almighty, which was brought down on Adam (Peace be upon him ) He (Peace be upon him ) was the first person who wrote on the soil and after that it was used as the deluge اand flood sank all the men on the earth except who were on the Boat of Nooh (Peace be upon him) , all the people got their writing.

There are different stages for the development of writing as the first stage of writing was signs and at this stage, man expressed what he wanted to say by drawing, and if he wanted to express the king, he drew a crown, and so on.  Like this there are few stages of development till the issuance of proper alphabets and proper way of writing and there are many scripts used for the Arabic which we will discuss in the detail in the below lines.
