Abstract

The modern critical approaches have multiplied, and this in turn has impacted the processes of creative criticism. The poem has become clear to the recipient after literary critics placed multiple critical approaches in the hands of scholars, which were a summary of the accumulation of human knowledge over long ages. After the poem used to depend on the taste and direct impressions of the critic, traditional approaches appeared in a later stage: (historical - social - psychological). These approaches became available to the discerning critic, and then in a subsequent stage, modern critical approaches appeared: (stylistic - structuralist - deconstructive - semiotic). It became necessary for the critic to choose the critical approach that can shed light on the features of the poem and reveal many of its symbols, text, and secrets. This research article will discuss the readers of the poem in light of the stylistic approach.
