منهجية التفكير النحويّ بين التلميذ وأستاذه
Abstract
This study sets forth the synthetic thinking methodology of "Ibn Jenni"; (the scholar), and Al- Farisi, the "teacher", who both lived in the Fourth Hijri century; the century of mature synthetic thinking methodology, which witnessed the rise of analogy, analysis, reasoning, and evidencing.
The method of both is scientifically oriented. It reflects their independent viewpoints, their views on the extent to which they were affected by "Sibawaih", and their merit to disagree with him, as well as with the rest of "Al-Basra Syntax Scholars".
The study asserts that they resorted to logic in studying syntax, its basics, and the synthetic reasoning. They put much emphasis on clues, all of which happened to be a common methodology of the scholar and his teacher, marking the maturity of their synthetic thinking.
An emphasis is put in the study to some synthetic issues that Ibn Jenni complemented the views of the "Al-Farisi", stressing specific parts where the scholar far exceeded his teacher, when addressing issues such as: " wai ka anna", the six nouns; (al asma'a assetta), the discontinuous exception, " hatta", and the female, mid consonant noun.
