Abstract

Honey is a blessing from Allah Almighty. It is not only a nutritious food but also a unique and powerful medicine. Recognizing its significance, the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) not only recommended its use but also consumed it regularly. According to the latest research, honey contains essential nutrients such as calcium, zinc, phosphorus, potassium, riboflavin, and niacin, making it a complete natural remedy. This analytical research aims to highlight the importance and contemporary applications of Sahih al-Bukhari's Kitāb al-Ṭibb (Book of Medicine) in medical practice. This study is highly significant as it serves as a guide for the community in understanding and exploring the remarkable healing properties of honey for human health. The primary objective is to raise awareness about its potential health benefits in light of the teachings of the Qurʾān and Sunnah, insights from Islamic scholars, and modern medical perspectives.The key research question of this article is: What is the significance of honey in Sahih al-Bukhari and how do Islamic scholars and modern science interpret its medicinal benefits? For which diseases is honey considered essential?The research methodology is descriptive and analytical, and the paper is enriched with findings, recommendations, and a comprehensive conclusion.
