Abstract

This study analyzes the jurisprudential contributions of the scholars from District Charsadda, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan, and reviews their significant books on Islamic jurisprudence. Darul Uloom Haqqania, a prominent seminary within the Deobandi tradition, has been a major center for Islamic education and scholarship. The aim of this research is to analyze the specific jurisprudential issues addressed by the scholars of Darul Uloom Haqqania and to assess the impact of their works on contemporary Islamic legal thought. This study adopts a qualitative research methodology that includes a detailed textual analysis of the writings of the scholars from Darul Uloom Haqqania. These textual works examine various aspects of Islamic law and assess their role in understanding and applying the law. Their decisions are made in light of ijtihad, meaning they consider the general principles of Sharia to address modern issues and provide interpretations accordingly. The educational system at Darul Uloom Haqqania is rooted in classical Islamic jurisprudential principles but also includes specific methodologies for addressing contemporary issues.
