The Importance of Arabic Conversational Skill and Teaching It to Non-Native Speakers (Descriptive field study)
Abstract
The world has become a global village which increased the demand of learning foreign languages day by day, As a result the science of teaching language to non-native speakers arose in the late twentieth century presenting many theories in teaching the second language by applying modern techniques in teaching. Although language learning has different goals and each student has his own interest, all the four language skills are important, whereas the speaking skill is especially in demand for being easiest and fastest mode used to interact with others. This study enlightens the importance of the speaking skill while learning a new language under the title "The Importance of Conversational Skill in Arabic and Its Teaching to Non-Native Speakers (A Descriptive Field Study)" helping the students to focus on their spoken skills.
