Abstract

This article deals with the family life of Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ). Islam being “Deen” a complete code of life; puts specifal emphasis on social life of Muslims. Prophet of Islam exhibits a model life for each Muslim, This research emphasizes on the family life of the Prophet. Despite being these engagements in Prophetic responsibilities, Prophetic Muhammad never let his family life to suffer. He showed through his living that a perfect man can become a role model in his bearings with religious, political as well as his family life. Being orphan by birth, Prophet Muhammad showed great deal of affection to his mother and grandfather. After their sad demise, his relationship with his uncle Abu Talib and his family is consummate. Similarly, his association with his wife Khadija is exemplary. So are his ties with later wives. In short we can say, beyond doubt, that Prophet Muhammad is complete Uswa-e-Hasana not only in his exterior life but also in his family life.
