Abstract

This study examines the stylistic role of parables in the Dawah of the Prophets as presented in the Qur’an. It highlights how the Qur’anic discourse employs parables as an effective rhetorical device to communicate complex theological and moral concepts in a clear and accessible manner. By transforming abstract ideas into vivid and tangible imagery, these parables enhance understanding and engage the human intellect. The research explores how this approach corresponds with natural human cognition, making divine guidance relevant to all levels of society. It further analyses the function of parables in strengthening belief, clarifying doctrines, and motivating ethical behaviour. The Dawah of the Prophets is shown to be not merely argumentative but deeply reformative, aiming at spiritual transformation. The study concludes that Qur’anic parables play a vital role in conveying guidance, ensuring clarity, and increasing the persuasive power and universal appeal of the Qur’anic message effectively.
