Aims and Scope
The Pakistan Journal of Economics Studies (PJES) is a peer-reviewed academic journal dedicated to advancing high-quality research in economics and related disciplines. The journal seeks to enhance understanding of the structure, performance, and transformation of developing economies, with particular emphasis on Pakistan, South Asia, and other emerging and developing regions.
PJES welcomes original empirical, theoretical, and policy-oriented contributions in all major areas of economics, as well as interdisciplinary studies that offer clear relevance to economic issues. The journal aims to promote meaningful engagement between academic research and public policy by encouraging submissions that combine analytical rigor with practical relevance. Articles should present sound technical analysis while also offering clear interpretation, intuition, and implications for researchers, practitioners, and policymakers.
